Robe·son (rōbʹsən), Paul Bustill. 1898-1976.
American singer and actor who played the lead roles in Othello and in Eugene O'Neill's The Emperor Jones and sang “Ol' Man River” in Showboat. He was an outspoken critic of racism and a supporter of socialism.
