Royal Doulton{™}
an English company that makes pottery and porcelain (= hard, white, shiny material made by baking a type of fine clay). It was started in London in the early 19th century by John Doulton and his son Henry. The company’s factory is now at Burslem near Stoke-on-Trent, and there is a Doulton museum nearby.
