any of the greetings cards made by the US company Hallmark Cards Inc, the biggest company of its kind in the world. It was established in 1910 by Joyce C Hall (a man). Its advertisements include the sentence, ‘When you care enough to send the very best.’ Hallmark also produces the television show The Hallmark Hall of Fame and owns Hallmark Entertainment, a company that makes television programmes.
