Goodwill Industries

Goodwill Industries
a major US charity, begun in 1910 by Edgar Helms, a Methodist minister. It operates in the US and in many other countries to provide training and employment for people who have physical or mental problems or who have committed crimes, etc. It collects money by asking people to give clothing and household items which are then sold in over 1 900 Goodwill shops.
