Dartington

Dartington
a centre for arts and country crafts in and around Dartington Hall, a large 14th-century house in Devon in south-west England. It was started in the 1920s. Until 1987 there was also a school there, which was known for its freedom and new ideas on methods of education. Since 1991 a 10-day festival of literature has been held there every year.
