Montmorency Falls

French  Chute Montmorency,  

      waterfall at the mouth of the Montmorency River in Québec region, southern Quebec province, Canada, about 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Quebec city. The waterfall makes a spectacular plunge 275 feet (84 m) into the St. Lawrence River. A hydroelectric installation at the falls provides power for the region around Quebec city.
