Louis Neistat 
      American comedian (b. May 1, 1913, Hartford, Conn.—d. Oct. 9, 2005, Los Angeles, Calif.), became known in the 1950s for his television portrayal of the pretentious Gordon Hathaway, a mainstay of the man-on-the-street interviews featured on The Steve Allen Show; his greeting—“Hi-ho, Steverino!”—became a national catchphrase. He went on to appearances in a few films and on a number of TV shows, including The Ann Sothern Show, The Beverly Hillbillies, St. Elsewhere, Laverne & Shirley, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. In addition, he provided several voices for the Inspector Gadget cartoon series.
