Heimlichmaneuver

Heim·lich maneuver (hīmʹlĭk', -lĭKH') n.

An emergency technique used to eject an object, such as food, from the trachea of a choking person. The technique employs a firm upward thrust just below the rib cage to force air from the lungs.
