Har·ri·man (hărʹə-mən), Edward Henry. 1848-1909.
American railway magnate. He joined J.P. Morgan and James J. Hill to form the Northern Securities Company, a railroad trust that was ordered dissolved by the U.S. Supreme Court (1904).
