1. a European plant, Umbilicus rupestris, of the stonecrop family, having fleshy, round leaves and yellowish-green flowers.
2. any of several low, hairy Eurasian plants belonging to the genus Omphalodes, of the borage family, having loose clusters of white or blue flowers.
