Widdicombe Fair

Widdicombe Fair
a popular old English song about a group of people who borrow a horse to go to a horse fair in Widdicombe, a village in Devon. Each verse of the song ends with the names of the people in the group: Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney, Peter Davy, Dan’l (Daniel) Whiddon, Harry Hawk and old Uncle Tom Cobbleigh.
