Three Choirs Festival

Three Choirs Festival
a British music festival which is held every year in either Gloucester, Hereford(1) or Worcester. The three cities take turns to hold the event. Much of the music is performed by their cathedral choirs, though visiting choirs also take part. Most of the performances also take place in the cathedrals. The festival was first held in 1724.
