Lennon

Lennon
(1940–80)
an English singer and guitar player with The Beatles pop group, who with Paul McCartney wrote most of the group’s songs. After the group broke up in 1970 Lennon began a new career with his wife Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band, recording Give Peace a Chance in 1970 and the album Imagine in 1971. He was murdered in New York in 1980.
