Dodsworth

Dodsworth
a character in the novel Dodsworth (1929) by Sinclair Lewis. Dodsworth has retired from his job and travels to Europe with his wife. Lewis uses him to show the different values and behaviour of Americans and Europeans. He is also seen as an example of a typical rich man who cannot communicate well with his wife.
