Waters, Muddy. Originally McKinley Morganfield. 1915-1983.
American blues singer and musician whose band shaped the hard-edged, electric Chicago blues sound of the post-World War II era and exerted a tremendous influence on British and American popular music. His many blues classics include “Long Distance Call,” “Mannish Boy,” and “Got My Mojo Working.”
