Pi·tot-stat·ic tube (pēʹtō-stătʹĭk, pē-tōʹ-)

A device consisting of a Pitot tube and a static tube combined to measure simultaneously the total and static pressure in a fluid stream. It can be used in aircraft to determine relative wind speed.
