▪ 2001
“Reggie”
British gangster (b. Oct. 24, 1933, London, Eng.—d. Oct. 1, 2000, Thorpe St. Andrew, Norfolk, Eng.), was the last of the three notorious Kray brothers, who in the 1950s and '60s, though ruthless and brutal, became Cockney legends as Robin Hood-style folk heroes; even after being imprisoned, they were glamorized in the media, films, songs, and theatre.
